Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) — Arbee Aquatic Proteins Pvt. Ltd.

Overview

Arbee Aquatic Proteins is committed to meaningful, transparent and compliant CSR that benefits the communities around our operations. Our CSR programmes support livelihoods, community health, youth development, sports, arts and environment-related initiatives. All activities are planned and executed in accordance with the Board-approved CSR Policy and the Companies Act, 2013.

Composition of CSR Committee

The CSR Committee recommends the annual CSR Action Plan, approves projects, monitors implementation and reports regularly to the Board. The Committee meets as required and at least twice a year, in line with policy governance

Guiding Principles

Our social investments are guided by the following principles (inspired by the Company CSR Policy):

• Local Impact: Prioritise projects that demonstrably improve quality of life in communities near our work centres.
• Needs-Driven: Select interventions based on clear community need assessments and measurable outcomes.
• Sustainability: Support initiatives that promote long-term environmental stewardship and resilient livelihoods.
• Inclusivity: Focus on vulnerable and disadvantaged groups—seniors, differently-abled, youth and low-income households.
• Partnership: Collaborate with credible NGOs, local Panchayats and government agencies to amplify impact.
• Transparency & Compliance: Maintain clear records, audited receipts, and external verification where appropriate.
• Capacity Building: Invest in skills, training and local systems so benefits are lasting beyond grant cycles.
• Value for Money: Ensure efficient use of funds, with administrative overheads kept within policy limits.

• Elderly Care & Community Wellbeing — day-care support, palliative services, social kitchens.
• Health & Preventive Care — regular medical camps, screening, maternal & child nutrition.
• Youth, Sports & Coaching — professional coaching, equipment and youth development programs.
• Education & Skills — scholarships, vocational training and capacity building in food/quality skills.
• Artistic & Social Enlightenment — cultural programs, debates and arts initiatives.
• Environment & Water Management — rainwater harvesting, ETP awareness, coastal resilience projects.
• Disaster Relief & Emergency Response — targeted rehabilitation and relief support.

Selected Project Highlights (FY 2024–25)

• Old-Age Day Care Centre support — ₹2,70,000.
• Support for Differently-abled Children (Autism Centre) — ₹6,50,000.
• Health & Preventive Care (Health camps) — ₹8,50,000.
• Rural development & social welfare initiatives — ₹3,30,455.
• Education, vocational training, sports and community events — remaining balance.

Implementation & Partners

• Implementing Partner: Arbee Care Foundation (Section-8) — projects implemented under a formal MoU.

Selection Criteria: Partners are selected per the CSR Policy criteria (registration, audited accounts, proven track record and local presence).

Monitoring: Activities are monitored through field visits, partner reports, an internal MIS and periodic third-party verification for major projects.

Assurance & Statutory Compliance

All disbursements and utilization records are maintained and certified. The FY 2024–25 utilisation has been examined by an independent practitioner, and official certificates are retained on record. Any unspent amounts are managed in accordance with Section 135 of the Companies Act and the Company CSR Policy.
